dc.description.abstractThe Center of Research functions as such since May, 2001. Before this date, it was an Aesthetics Research Group (G.I.E) which was formed in 1996. Since then, it has carried out various International Symposiums on Aesthetics and Contemporary Art as well as various National Seminars on Art and Aesthetics. The Center is a space of reflection. It seeks to research the manifestations of contemporary art and aesthetics, starting from the concept of art and the artist that has its origin in the fundamental philosophers: Nietzsche and Heidegger. Beginning from these philosophers, the most important lines of thought regarding aesthetics and art in the second half of the twentieth century have been constituted: 1) Those which follow the hermeneutic circle and the ontological voices of Being; 2) The post-nietzschean currents. The Research Center develops three principal lines of research: - Action Art, - Contemporary Art, - Contemporary Aesthetics, - Ontology of Art, - Thought on variationes_VE

dc.description.abstract1El Centro de Investigaciones funciona como tal desde mayo del 2001, antes era un Grupo de Investigaciones Estéticas (G.I.E.) el cual se constituyó en 1996. Desde entonces se han realizado varios Simposios Internacionales de Estética y Arte Contemporáneo, asimismo varios Seminarios Naconales de Arte y Estética. Es un espacio de reflexón en el área de primera línea. Busca investigar sobre las manifestaciones contemporáneas de arte y estética, a partir del concepto ampliado de arte y artista, que tiene su origen en dos filósofos fundamentales: Nietzshe y Heidegger. A partir de estos filósofos se han constituido las líneas más importantes del pensar estético y artístico de la segunda mitad del siglo XX: 1) Las que se atienen al circulo hermenéutico y a las voces ontológicas del Ser; 2) Las corrientes post-nietzscheanas. El Centro de Investigaciones desarrolla tres líneas principales de investigación: - Arte accional, - Arte contemporáneo, - Estética contemporánea, - Ontología del arte, - Pensamiento de la diferencia.es_VE
