Résumé
El presente ensayo es una reflexión sobre la poética del escritor pernambucano João Cabral de Melo Neto que toma como referencia el papel del artista y del intelectual en la sociedad. Para ello se recurre a la teoría de Pierre Bordieu, para situar al sujeto histórico a la luz de los conceptos de «campo» y habitus, categorías necesarias a la hora de moderar el carácter economicista de la relación entre infraestructura y superestructura que domina el constructo epistémico del marxismo. Asimismo, se discute el papel central de la categoría «región» al problematizar la inserción del artista intelectual en el modo de producción vigente. Se resaltan las relaciones entre la sociología y la literatura al mostrar la importancia de ese encuentro para la teoría y el fenómeno literario.

| Resumen en otro Idioma | This paper focuses on the poetic work of the pernambucano writer João Cabral de Melo Neto, considering the role of the artist and the intellectual. Aiming this, it uses Pierre Bourdieu’s theory in order to locate the lyric self, considering the concepts of field and habit as significant categories to minimize the financial character of the relation between base and superstructure, the Marxist epistemic building metaphor. Besides, this work also deals with the central role of the category region on the insertion of the intellectual artist in the effective mode of production. The relations Segunda etapa - Volumen 12 - No. 14 - Año 2008 between Sociology and Literature are highlighted, ensuring the importance of this meeting to theory and literary phenomenom. - Cet essai propose une réflexion sur la poétique de l’écrivain pernambucano João Cabral de Melo Neto sous la perspective du rôle de l’artiste et de l’intellectuel. Pour cela, on aura recours à la théorie de Pierre Bourdieu pour situer le sujet historique à partir des concepts de champ et de habitus, catégories précieuses pour «assouplir» le caractère déterministe de la relation entre l’infrastructure et la superstructure, métaphores de l’édifice épistémique du marxisme. On évoque également le rôle central de la catégorie de région dans la problématisation et l’insertion de l’artiste intellectuel dans le mode de production actuelle. Les rapports entre la sociologie et la littérature sont soulignés pour démontrer l’importance de cette rencontre pour la théorie et le phénomène littéraire. |
