Resumen en otro Idioma | Given the need to include the ethical debate in the course of studies of public accounting, the aim of this paper is to find the areas that foster such debate. In order to accomplish this goal, different theories will be explored which have focused on the relationship between ethics and Economic Sciences. As the result of this research, it is possible to pose some questions such as: Is there a link between ethics and economics? How to behave responsibly? What is the role of value judgements in accounting research? It is possible to conclude that there are three spheres in the accounting curricula that might embrace the type of reflection sparked by the questions already mentioned. The first area is composed of courses focusing on social contents; the second one is linked to professional practices; and the third one centers on courses on accounting theory. |
