La presente investigación realizada sobre la danza yu'pa se inscribe dentro del marco teórico de la "Etnomotricidad", es decir, de la "construcción social y cultural del cuerpo en movimiento".
Como objetivo fundamental se pretende comprobar en qué medida se pueden ver reflejados en la danza los mecanismos de transmisión y adquisición de conocimientos de una a otra generación; así como las influencias que los agentes exteriores provocan en la adopción de nuevos modelos de comportamiento.
En este texto se presenta una ordenación tipológica de las danzas yu'pas, de acuerdo a dos criterios previamente elegidos; y se interpretan individualizadamente algunos de los aspectos más destacados en cada tipo de danza. Finalmente, a modo de conclusión, se establecen las correspondencias más significativas encontradas entre los elementos constituyentes de las danzas yu'pas, y el contexto social y cultural en donde éstas se recrean.

Resumen en otro Idioma | This study of the yu'pa dance belongs within the theoretical framework of "ethno-motor-function", that is, " the social and cultural construction of the body in movement". Its main objective is to show to w hat extent the mechanisms for the transmission and acquisition of knowledge from one generation to another can be seen reflected in the dance; and also how the influence of external agents brings about the adoption of new behavior models. This article presents a typological classification of the yu'pa dances, in accordance with two previously selected criteria, and interprets individually sorne of the most noticeable aspects of each type of dance. In conclusion, it establishes the most significant correspondences found between the constituent eiements of the yu'pa dances and the social and cultural context in which they arestill recreated. |
