| es_VE |

dc.description.abstract1 | The feat on the notion of otherness came to develop
strongly from the traumatic meeting of 1492, but
the Spanish peninsula was the epicenter of great
signs of identity with the profusion in European
lands of various human natures: the Iberians, Celts,
Phoenicians, Greeks and Romans. This work aims
to analyse the encounters and disagreements with
the Other in the relationship between Spain and
America, based on the text by Carlos Fuentes El
espejo enterrado (1998) and some statements
by Briceño Guerrero, Paz, Campra. Mariátegui,
among others. Thus, the Spanish and American
union, the meeting with the otherness, seen from
its beginnings as a struggle, has given both the
European and the native man a set of key elements
that has prolonged until today the incessant search
for identity, culture, Latin American philosophy
and the projection of a man who is recognized
in the world for his unequaled contradiction. | es_VE |
