Resumen en otro Idioma | The city could be defined as a feminine concept, insofar as it acts as a mother, since we are anchored to it through the umbilical cord of living and urban memories that do not stop its history. We try to point out in this article that every city is by "cause" the work of man, it is artificial, with a natural tendency to change which makes it a phenomenon of realities in permanent construction, which define lines to approach the urban from different points of view, symbolically designated to correspond to a viable and invisible characteristic, even when they are understood as a plot irony. We have divided this writing into seven parts; the first, where we make an introduction to the subject. A second part, in which we try to go from the general to the particular. We have called another section "the XXI century", where we approach the idea of sustainability as a way out of the problems that all cities present. A following section allusive to the book that supports all this work: Invisible Cities by Ítalo Calvino. We also present a section that we have called "Day and night", where we establish the differences of the same city during the day as opposed to its development at night. Then we present some ideas about the city as a public canvas, and finally we close with a few final words. |
