Abstract
El autor analiza aquí al problema de supervivencia de la única escuela de Antropología del país, dentro de una universidad venezolana en crisis o agonía,situación depresiva que se debe relacionar con la historia de est disiplina en Venezuela y la historia del país mismo y su sin-fin de un trabajo no publicado de Paul Friedrich (<<Paradox and Chaos>>, 1980), de la escuela de Chicago
