dc.description.abstractEste artículo analiza el proceso de creación de un grupo de cooperativas de trabajo asociado de la comunidad de Valencia en España. Utilizando una metodología cualitativa -la Teoría Fundamentada (Grounded Theory)- basada en entrevistas en profundidad con socios de 37 cooperativas de trabajo asociado en diversos sectores de actividad, los autores analizan varias dimensiones del proceso de creación de estas cooperativas, para luego destacar factores de éxito y áreas de mejora, lo que permite proponer medidas que contribuyan a fortalecer estas organizacioneses_VE

dc.description.abstract1This paper analyses the process of creation of this type of company, based on information provided by the founder teams. To do this, we have used an inductive methodology, the Grounded Theory, as it is the most suitable for the study of aspects related to human behaviour, as is the case here. More specifically, this research presents the main strategic consequences that need to be considered in each phase of the creation process of worker cooperatives, it analyses strengths (success factors) and it suggests various areas for improvement which, in the authors’ view, should be focused on in order to ensure the consolidation of this kind of company. All the recently created worker cooperatives analysed in this paper are located in the Valencian Community (Spain)es_VE
