dc.description.abstract | A objeto de definir el comportamiento del consumidor de truchas del municipio Maracaibo, se realizó una investigación descriptiva no experimental de campo a los habitantes con edad comprendida entre 25 y 60 años de las Parroquias en las que existen al menos, dos puntos de ventas de truchas y se utilizó un muestreo polietápico para una muestra de 400 consumidores. Los datos se recolectaron utilizando un cuestionario y analizados con estadísticas descriptivas. Los resultados indican que el 69% de los consumidores son hombres, 70% mayor de 45 años y el 72% con nivel de ocupación profesional, el ingreso del 87% es mayor a Bs. 1.200.000, ubicando al consumidor en los estratos B y C. La percepción de los consumidores revela que el 48% consideran la frescura y el 25% el tamaño del producto fundamental para la decisión de compra, el 52% de los consumidores califican el producto de bueno a regular, 54% y 69% consideran el producto pequeño e insípido respectivamente. El gusto 39% y el hábito 28% representan el motivo principal de compra del producto. Los consumidores demandan truchas empacadas al vació 55% y con recetarios incluidos 43%. | es_VE |

dc.description.abstract1 | The objective of this study was to define the behavior of trout consumers in the Maracaibo Municipality, Venezuela. The research was conducted as a descriptive study utilizing a non-experimental field design of the population between 25 and 60 years of age in the Parishes in which two trout sale outlets exist. A multiphase sampling was conducted to determine a sample of 400 consumers. Data was colleted using a questionnaire and analized with descriptive statistics. These results indicate that 69% of the consumer were men, 70% older than of 45 years of age, 72% have a university degree and more than 87% have an income greater than Bs.1,200,000 placing consumers in the socials levels B and C. Consumer perceptions reveal that 48% consider the freshness and 25% the size of the product as fundamental variables in the decision to purchase, 52% of consumidors classify the product between regular and good, and 54% and 69% consider the product small and insipid respectively. Taste preference 39% and habit 28% represent the main motivation variables to purchase the product and consumers request vacuum seal packing 55% and with a sales receipt included 43%. | es_VE |
