Resumen en otro Idioma | The purpose of this investigation is to propose the application of the ABC Method (Activity Based Cost) as an alternative in the handling of the agricultural cost in the activities of coffee production, under the three Types of Land Use (TLU) previously identified in the Monaicito River’s microbasin, Trujillo state, Venezuela. For such aim a descriptive field research supported by the documentary analysis was designed, using as instruments the survey carried out by the Lands and Water Research Group (GISA) and an interview guide. A representative farm of each TLU was selected, from which data of the cost incurred in coffee productive cycle was collected. The results of this investigation allowed to identify and to describe the diverse activities, sub-activities, the cost generators and resources present in the productive cycle of coffee farming, which are indispensable factors for the application of the ABC method. This method represents a viable and favorable alternative for the analysis of coffee production cost, since it allowed the design of a structure of cost, through the systematization of the countable information. |
