| dc.description.abstract | Este artículo es parte de una investigación mayor que tenía como
objetivo explorar las creencias y prácticas de crianza en la ciudad de
Mérida (Goncálvez 2008). Para ello se planteó en una primera parte,
lo que constituye este artículo, la indagación acerca de la noción de la
niñez como noción y cultural y su relación con la diversidad de las pautas
culturales de crianza en sociedades diversas estudiadas por antropólogos;
igualmente se propone realizar una revisión de esta categoría dentro de
la visión de la Escuela occidental, así como los aportes para el tema de
