dc.description.abstractLa gestión de costos representa una de las áreas de conocimiento fundamentales en la gerencia de proyectos, la cual está compuesta por la estimación, el presupuesto y el control de los costos. Con el presente trabajo se tiene como propósito, previo un análisis bibliográfico, describir los procesos que integran la gestión de los costos en los proyectos desde la perspectiva de las mejores prácticas reconocidas por el Project Management Institute (traducido al español, Instituto de Gerencia de Proyecto, en su Guía de los Fundamentos de la Dirección de Proyectos.es_VE
