| dc.description.abstract | En este artículo se realiza un
acercamiento crítico a la historiografía
del tema petróleo en la Península de
Paraguaná, Estado Falcón, norte de
Venezuela, que aborda el período
1945 a 1970. El trabajo se dedica
al examen y reconstrucción de las
líneas esenciales que fundamentan
el relato, valoración y análisis del
discurso historiográfico sobre el
desarrollo de la industria petrolera
en la región, en el espacio temporal
señalado. Se revisa un importante
conjunto bibliohemegrá.. co, donde
se presta especial atención a la
producción historiográ.. ca regional,
para establecer las características de
la construcción de visiones e idearios
