dc.description.abstractAquí se analizan las obras de cuatro escritoras de origen africano que realizan un recorrido no lineal por el contexto social de su continente en el siglo XX y refl ejan las visiones, maneras de sentir y vivir de las mujeres en un ambiente donde confl uyen y se entretejen el peso de las tradiciones con el proceso de extrañamiento que producen los cambios y la entrada a la modernidad. Se indaga también en los efectos la migración en la construcción de sus identidades. En el análisis se pondera la concepción del ejercicio de los derechos que refl ejan las obras escogidas.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1Th is paper discusses the works of four writers of African descent that walk a nonlinear path through the social context of the African continent in the twentieth century, refl ecting the visions, ways of feeling and experience of women in an environment in which the weight of tradition interweaves with the process of estrangement produced by social change and the entrance into modernity. It also assesses the eff ects of migration on identity-construction, as well as the rights of women, in the novels selected.es_VE
