dc.description.abstractLas Islas Malvinas han adquirido relevancia en el contexto internacional a partir de la Guerra que en 1982 enfrentó a Gran Bretaña y la República Argentina, y desde la caída del Muro de Berlín, que generó una redistribución de poder en el mundo con nuevos actores y repotenciación de otros. Ello ha despertado un interés geoestratégico particular en una posesión que se encuentra en un sector clave del Atlántico Sur, próxima a la Antártida y cerca de los pasos interoceánicos. De allí la pertinencia y justeza del reclamo argentino de soberanía sobre territorios que le fueron violentamente usurpados.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1Th e Malvinas Islands have acquired international relevance after the war that pitted Britain and the Argentinian Republic in 1982, and since the fall of the Berlin wall that generated a redistribution of power in the world with the emergence of new actors and the empowering of others. Th is has awakened a special geostrategic interest in a place that is located in a key sector of the South Atlantic, next to Antarctica and close to inter-oceanic pathways. Hence the relevance and justice of the Argentinean claim to sovereignty over territories that were violently usurped.es_VE
