dc.description.abstractLa fiesta es una pausa que saca a la sociedad de sus rutinas para conmemorar eventos que reafi rman su naturaleza o que recuerdan hechos fundacionales. Las Fiestas de Estado son aquellas organizadas desde esta estructura de poder para consolidar mitos de origen o eventos históricos que dan sentido a la epopeya fundadora de la unidad social que es regida por ese Estado. Son constructoras de identidad grupal y de consenso. Eventualmente, conviven fiestas que conmemoran el origen nacional y fiestas del origen del hegemón en el poder. Revisaremos todas las fiestas reportadas en la prensa de Ciudad Bolívar en el estado Bolívar durante el siglo que va de 1907 al 2010 para establecer cuáles Fiestas de Estado han sido permanentes durante esos 100 años y cuáles han durado solo lo que han permanecido según los regímenes que las han promovido.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1By definition a festive celebration is an occasion that gives pause to routine in commemoration of an event. Basic historical facts are reiterated and re-established. State are those organized by this power structure to affirm origin myths or historical events that give meaning to the founding epic of social unity that is governed by this State. This propaganda targets group identity and a consensus of opinion. Eventually can coexist both celebrations that commemorate national origin and celebrations that commemorate the origin of the hegemonic power. In this paper we consider all celebrations reported by the press in Ciudad Bolivar, in the State of Bolivar, Venezuela, from year 1907 to year 2010. This was done in order to establish exactly which State celebrations have endured as permanent, and which ones have only lasted during the administrations of the regimes by which they were imposed.es_VE
