dc.description.abstractEl autor reflexiona sobre el debate que enfrenta y opone la Historia Local y Regional con la “nacional” y “universal”, a partir de la experiencia historiográfica venezolana; sosteniendo ¿al respecto? que tal oposición es falsa y carece de sustento, puesto que son complementarias, porque el Ser Humano es, en esencia, universal, y su acción en el tiempo y el espacio se manifiesta, como tal, en los planos concretos de la espacialidad y la temporalidad, adquiriendo aquél significatividad y explicabilidad en lo regional y local y éste, a su vez, sentido, en el contexto de la globalidad. Recurre a los contenidos de los números 176 (1992), 177 (1993-1995) y 178 (1996) de la Revista de Historia Canaria, editada por la Universidad de La Laguna en Tenerife (Islas Canarias-España).es_VE

dc.description.abstract1In this paper, the author thinks on the debate, still unsolved, that confronts and opposes the local and regional History against the “national” and “universal” one, starting from the Venezuelan historiographic experience; bearing ¿with respect to this? that such opposite is false and have no support at all, as long as instead of confronting to each other, all old them are complementary and summon, mutually, of its respective contributions, because the human being is, in essence, universal and its action, in the time and on the space, is showing itself, as such, on the concrete lanes of the spatiality and the temporality, acquiring, the first one, significability and explicability in the regional and local planes, and the second one, on it’s part, sens, in the globality context. It is applied to the contents of the issues 176 (1992), 177 (1993-1995) and 178 (1996) of the Revista de Historia Canaria, edited by the Universidad de La Laguna, in Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain).es_VE
