dc.description.abstractSe presenta un cuerpo de ideas tentativo que intenta dar cuenta de las tramas socio-históricas y culturales asociadas al arte rupestre de la región geohistórica del lago de Valencia durante la época Precolonial venezolana. Utilizando principalmente fundamentos teóricos y datos emanados de la disciplina arqueológica, se presentan algunas propuestas metodológicas para el estudio de estos materiales, así como aproximaciones sobre su producción, uso e interpretación. Con ello, se pretende abonar el camino para futuras experiencias investigativas, que permitan con mayores evidencias la comprensión de esta expresión del arte creador aborigen.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1It presents a tentative body of ideas that tries to give account of the sociohistorical and cultural plots associated to the rock art of the geohistoric region of the Lake of Valencia during the Venezuelan Precolonial period. Using mainly theoretical foundations and data emanating from the archaeological discipline, some methodological proposals are presented for the study of these materials, as well as approximations about their interpretation, production and use. With this, it is intended to pave the way for future research experiences, which allow with greater evidence the understanding of this expression of aboriginal creative art.es_VE
