dc.description.abstractEste trabajo tiene por objetivo hacer un balance sobre el Taller de la Memoria de la Ciencia realizado en el Instituto Venezolano de Investigaciones Científicas, (IVIC), bajo la coordinación del Laboratorio de Historia de la Ciencia y la Tecnología del Centro de Estudios de la Ciencia, y como parte de la Cátedra Bolívar y Bello del Centro de Estudios Avanzados (CEA). En primer lugar describiremos el Taller y sus objetivos, luego daremos cuenta de la metodología llevada a cabo para su realización y nos referiremos a las reseñas biográficas de investigadores realizadas por varios de los participantes. Presentamos, una selección de ellas que son objetos de publicación en este número de Bitácora-e, como producto final de este proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Finalmente reflexionamos sobre esta experiencia y sus potencialidades no sólo para la investigación social, sino en términos de democratización de la ciencia en Venezuela.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1This work aims to make a balance on the Workshop on the Memory of Science held at the Venezuelan Institute of Scientific Research (IVIC), under the coordination of the Laboratory of History of Science and Technology of the Center for the Study of Science, and as part of the Chair Bolívar y Bello of the Center for Advanced Studies (CEA). First we will describe the Workshop and its objectives, then we will give an account of the methodology carried out for its realization and we will refer to the biographical reviews of researchers made by several of the participants. We present, a selection of them that are objects of publication in this issue of Bitácora-e, as a final product of this teaching-learning process. Finally we reflect on this experience and its potential not only for social research, but in terms of democratization of science in Venezuela.es_VE
