| dc.description.abstract | Los lazos amistosos entre China y América Latina y el Caribe (ALC) se remontan a tiempos muy antiguos.
Los chinos de Manila fueron los pioneros en promover los intercambios comerciales y culturales entre
China y ALC a través de la Ruta Marítima de la Seda. Los culíes chinos y los chinos de ultramar han
jugado un importante papel en la promoción de los lazos culturales entre China y ALC. Después de la
fundación de la Nueva China se desarrolla con rapidez los intercambios culturales mutuos que

Chinese people of Manila were pioneers in the promotion of the commercial and cultural exchange

immigrants have played an important role in the promotion of cultural interchange between China and
Latin America. After the foundation of the New China the bilateral cultural interchange has developed
rapidly and has contributed to the development of the relations of friendship and cooperation between
