dc.description.abstractLa elaboración de textiles con algodón nativo y el uso telar de cintura es una de las actividades más antiguas desarrolladas por las sociedades que habitaron la costa norte peruana y que perdura hasta la actualidad. Hoy en día, estas artesanías se venden a los turistas. En el trabajo se abordará la producción de estas artesanías textiles en la región Lambayeque (Perú) y la problemática que surge entre el mantenimiento de pautas tradicionales de manufactura y la introducción de innovaciones para satisfacer las demandas del turismo.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1The elaboration of textiles with native cotton and the waist loom use is one of the oldest activities developed by the societies that inhabited the north coast of Peru and that lasts until today. Nowadays, these crafts are sold to tourists. The paper will address the production of these textile crafts in the Lambayeque Region (Peru) and the problems that arise between the maintenance of traditional manufacturing patterns and the introduction of innovations to meet the demands of tourism.es_VE
