Abstract
Las representaciones sociales de la migración latinoamericana crean imágenes individuales y
colectivas de personas, objetos y procesos. Esta investigación hace un análisis documental de 32
publicaciones académicas sobre este tema durante la década 2009-2019, arrojando como resultado un
patrón con cuatro vertientes: investigaciones de Representaciones Sociales; Cultura, Educación y
Medios de Comunicación Social; Mujer Inmigrante y Derechos Humanos y Legislación. Este estudio
concluye que las investigaciones sobre representaciones sociales proyectan al migrante
latinoamericano hacía sí mismo, a la nación de origen y al país receptor.
