| dc.description.abstract | El autor propone un enfoque distinto en el estudio del parentesco, abordando éste en su articulación con la sociedad general, y en paricular con los temas de clase, grupo doméstico.El estudio concreto fue realizado por él en Caracas, donde la cultura oficial habla de "familia nuclear". Critíca el uso de esta categoría para caracterizar a la familia Venezolana, así como la concepción de la institución familiar como mera adaptación a regimens económcos básicos (sistema de planteación, economìa petrolera, gran industria, etc) o su tipificación como "matricentrista" o familia desestructurada", y otros enfoque que ven como patologías lo que rige como valor, norma,patrón cultural.Muestra finalmente la emergencia de la mujer venezolana en las últimas décadas, ante el fracaso del hombre en la dirección de la política y la administración de su sociedad. | es_VE |
