| dc.description.abstract | En este artículo se intenta analizar la experiencia de la lucha
armada iniciada en el territorio venezolano de 1962, vista como un movimiento
político que continúa la resistencia frente a la dictadura militar
imperante en el lapso 1948-1958. En ella convergen varias generaciones
de venezolanos para enfrentar la política feroz del gobierno de
Rómulo Betancourt. El frente Simón Bolívar constituido por las organizaciones
Partido Comunista, Movimiento de Izquierda Revolucionaria
y Bandera Roja, son los protagonistas en la región Lara-Trujillo de este
proceso.
