Resumen en otro Idioma | With the objective of evaluating the productive parameters of fattening quails fed with diets based on concentrated food(CF) and red Californian earthworm (Eisenia foetida) flour (EF) it was accomplished an experiment in ULA (NURR) Trujillo, Venezuela. During 42 days, 36 quails of Japanese race (Coturnix japonica) were kept in cage under two treatments and six repetitions; each repetitions involved three birds. The treatments were T0: (Control) with commercial concentrated food with 17 % of proteins; T1: Commercial concentrated food with 17 % of proteins + 4 % of earthworm to complete 19 % of protein per ration. The bird ate the food ad libitum. The food consume daily was weighed and the quails were weighed once per week. The results were analyzed with the stadistical package SAS through an ANAVA and the averages were compared through the multiple range test by Turkey at P<0,05. It is concluded that at observing the parameters in a general way, there are significant differences (P<0,05) in the average weight, weight increase, and performance in carcass ( 130,33g, 122,64g y 76,05 % Vs 119,58g, 112,08g y 72,74% respectively) in favor of the treatment with earthworm flour without deterioration in the conversion index g/g (76,05 -EF- Vs 72,74 –CF-), nor increase of the consume of food in the total period g (495,25-EF- Vs 454 -CF-). |
