dc.description.abstractEl propósito de este estudio es el análisis de las Debilidades, Amenazas, Fortalezas y Oportunidades (DAFO) del programa “Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi”, perteneciente al Instituto Nacional de Capacitación Educativa Socialista (INCES), en el “Centro Penitenciario Región Los Andes”, del estado Mérida. En este sentido, se diseñó un instrumento abierto para recopilar la información mediante una muestra intencional a treinta privadas de libertad que habían participado en cursos dictados por dicha institución en años anteriores, con la finalidad de aplicar la matriz DAFO. Entre las debilidades se puede señalar, la falta de evaluación y seguimiento de las actividades. Una importante amenaza es la inseguridad y violencia en los pabellones masculinos que repercute negativamente en el inicio, desarrollo y culminación exitosa de los cursos. La principal fortaleza es la confección y elaboración de buenos productos. Entre las oportunidades se tiene la formación para el trabajo en libertad. Se propusieron estrategias al respecto.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1The purpose of this study is the analysis of the weaknesses, threats, strengths and opportunities (SWOT) of Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi program belonging to the National Socialist Educational Training (INCES), in the "State Prison Los Andes", in Mérida state. In this sense, an open instrument was designed to collect information through a sample of thirty detainees who had participated in courses offered by the institution in the past, in order to apply the SWOT matrix. Among the weaknesses to be noted are the lack of evaluation and monitoring of activities. A major threat is insecurity and violence in the masculine sections of the prison that negatively affect the initiation, development and successful completion of the courses. The main strength is the manufacture and development of good products. Strategies are proposed to provide more opportunities for work release.es_VE
