Abstract
Este artículo expone los aspectos teóricos y metodológicos que
deberían seguirse de manera abierta a la hora de estudiar el discurso poético
venezolano producido entre 1830 y 1870. Tales criterios son los siguientes: la
inserción creativa del Neoclasicismo y Romanticismo en la lírica venezolana de
ese tiempo, identificar los temas de su escritura; conocer a sus autores; examinar
lingüísticamente el poema y su difusión; detectar las comunidades receptoras;
valorar el discurso poético como conjunción entre literatura, historia, ideología,
economía y sociedad; y captar las fuentes de documentación de tales textos
literarios.

These criteria are the following: the creative insertion of the Neoclassicism and Romanticism in the Venezuelan lyrical of that time, the identification of themes of its writing, the knowledge of their authors, the linguistic examination of the poems and their diffusion, the detection of the receiver communities, the valuation of the poetic discourse as a conjunction between literature, history, ideology, economy, and society; and the capture of documentation sources of such literary texts. |
