dc.description.abstractEn el artículo se reflexiona sobre los esfuerzos realizados en el área educativa en el gobierno de Eleazar López Contreras (1936- 1941) con el fin de producir un cambio institucional. El estudio presenta algunas instituciones y un inventario de organismos creados o renovados que permitieron transformar el orden educativo existente. Se utilizarán algunos constructos del enfoque neoinstitucional de Douglass North.es_VE
