| dc.description.abstract | El comportamiento ético de los estudiantes universitarios sigue siendo un tema objeto de investigación. Estudios realizados por algunos autores demostraron una fuerte correlación entre comportamientos no éticos en el ámbito académico y conductas no éticas en el área laboral. En ese contexto, generar conocimiento sobre la percepción y actitud que presentan los estudiantes universitarios hacia acciones no éticas en el entorno académico, sería el primer paso para comprender esta problemática y generar soluciones a futuro. El propósito de esta investigación es identificar las actitudes en el comportamiento ético de los estudiantes de FACES – ULA, así como su percepción sobre creencias que involucran conflicto entre el éxito en los negocios y la ética. Para ello se encuestaron 158 estudiantes, encontrándose que la mayoría se definen como individuos éticos, pero cómo grupo se autodefinen poco éticos. Un número importante de estudiantes manifestó haberse involucrado en acciones no éticas en el ámbito académico como copiarse en un examen o copiar trabajos del internet haciéndolos parecer como propios. El género femenino apoya en mayor medida la premisa que el éxito en los negocios no está en contradicción con la ética. | es_VE |

| dc.description.abstract1 | The ethical behavior of university students remains a subject of research. Studies conducted by some authors showed a strong correlation between unethical behavior in the academic field and unethical behavior in the workplace. In this context, generating knowledge about the perception and attitude that university students present towards unethical actions in the academic environment, would be the first step to understand this problem and generate solutions for the future. The purpose of this research is to identify the attitudes in the ethical behavior of the students of FACES - ULA, as well as their perception on beliefs that involve conflict between the success in business and ethics. For this, 158 students were surveyed, finding that the majority define themselves as ethical individuals, but as a group they define themselves as unethical. A significant number of students said they had been involved in unethical actions in the academic field, such as copying themselves in an exam or copying works from the internet, making them seem like their own.
