| dc.description.abstract | Este trabajo fundamentado teóricamente en la Historia cultural
tiene como objetivo desentrañar la presencia de la alimentación (comidas y
bebidas) en las prácticas funerarias de Venezuela. Para ello se presenta y
analiza un corpus heterogéneo que nos permite afirmar que en todos los
rituales post mortem que se han celebrado a lo largo de la historia
venezolana la alimentación ha sido una constante que se ha mediatizado por
pautas de conductas y de comportamientos hasta llegar al actual
