Resumen en otro Idioma | In this paper we will approach the identification of film resources and the configuration of the audiovisual image, in the transposition of the tragedy Medea, from Euripides, to the homonymous cinematographic text (1988) by the Danish director Lars von Trier. The mise en scène or the cinematographic staging is an important aspect for the recognition of the nuances that the Danish director adds to the history of Euripides, complex in itself. The composition of the image content is given by the set of frames, the point of view, the visual angle and the camera movements. From these elements, the reality fragments that will appear on the screen are broken down and organized. With the study of the elements that come into play in the cinematographic setting and the way of showing them, we will point to the perceptible characteristics and the iconic value of everything that makes the space of the action of the other Medea, that of Lars von Trier. |
