| dc.description.abstract | La historia ambiental representa una disciplina prometedora para la comprensión del proceso evolutivo naturaleza-cultura. Se precisó conocer la manera como se llevó a efecto la transformación del territorio en la región Turén, en el marco de las políticas agrícolas modernizantes, a partir de la segunda mitad del siglo XX. El estudio adoptó una investigación de naturaleza cualitativa fundamentada en la fenomenología y la hermenéutica. Se seleccionaron intencionalmente cuatro versionantes, representado por los Cronistas Oficiales Municipales de los municipios ubicados en el área estudiada. Luego de categorizados los aportes de las entrevistas se estructuraron los respectivos hallazgos. | es_VE |

| dc.description.abstract1 | Environmental history is portrayed as a promising discipline for understanding the nature-culture evolutionary process. In this sense, it was necessary to know the way in which the transformation of the territory was carried out in the Turén Region within the framework of the modernizing agricultural policies from the second half of the 20th century. A qualitative research based on phenomenological and hermeneutic methods was adopted. Key informants represented by the four Official Municipal Chroniclers of the municipalities located in the study area, were intentionally selected.
