| dc.description.abstract | El propósito del presente trabajo tiene como finalidad sensibilizar la herencia
documental de la comunidad indígena Mapuche en particular, y aspectos referentes a las
crónicas de violencia epistémica en Chile durante el siglo XVI. De manera, que sean
signifi cativos en términos de memoria mundial para la salvaguardia del Patrimonio
Cultural. Para ello, contamos con referentes teóricos como acompañantes durante
nuestro recorrido: Michel Foucault, Gastón Bachelard, Walter Mignolo, Frantz Fanón,
Boaventura de Sousa Santos, Ramón Grosfoguel. Amén de investigación Documental, así,
como el Archivo General de Indias de Sevilla y el Archivo General de Asuntos Indígenas
de Chile en franca orientación, y correspondencia, a través del Convenio Básico de
Integración Cultural entre los Gobiernos de las Repúblicas de Chile y Bolivariana de
Venezuela por considerar la integración como un mecanismo para estrechar lazos de
amistad que unen a los pueblos en la búsqueda de mayor acercamiento a través de un
conocimiento recíproco con la propia realidad nacional. Para ahondar en el
conocimiento reflexionamos sobre algunas interrogantes ¿cuáles son las raíces, y las
claves para entender la conflictiva relación entre el pueblo indígena Mapuche y el
Estado Chileno? 1. La tierra y los intereses económicos? 2. Falta de reconocimiento,

| dc.description.abstract1 | The purpose of this work is to raise awareness of the documentary heritage of the
Mapuche indigenous community in particular, and aspects related to the chronicles of
epistemic violence in Chile during the sixteenth century. So that they are signifi
cant in terms of world memory for the safeguarding of Cultural Heritage. For this, we
count on theoretical references
as companions during our journey: Michel Foucault, Gaston Bachelard, Walter Mignolo,
Frantz Fanon, Boaventura de Sousa Santos, and Ramón Grosfoguel. In addition to
documentary research, as well as the General Archive of the Indies of Seville and the
General Archive of Indigenous Affairs of Chile in open orientation, and
correspondence, through the Basic Agreement on Cultural Integration between the
Governments of the Republics of Chile and Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for
considering integration as a mechanism to strengthen ties of friendship that unite
peoples in the search for greater approachment through a reciprocal knowledge with
their own national reality. In order to deep in our knowledge, we refl ect
on some questions: what are the roots and the keys to understand the confl ictive
relationship between the Mapuche indigenous people and the Chilean State? Lack of
