| dc.description.abstract | Este artículo analiza el proceso de institucionalización estatal de algunas demandas del movimiento social afrovenezolano mediante la incorporación de una agenda antirracista en las políticas gubernamentales (1999-2018). Se argumenta que entre 1999 y 2011 la vinculación gobierno-movimiento afrodescendiente produjo la abertura de múltiples entradas institucionales a través de dos estrategias interrelacionadas: la política de proximidad y la ocupación estratégica de cargos públicos. A partir de 2013 se evidencia el desgaste de estas estrategias, y una nueva dinámica gobierno-movimiento caracterizada por la exclusión con limitadas concesiones simbólicas. Consecuentemente, desde 2018 el desafío es rescatar una agenda política autónoma como movimiento social. | es_VE |
