Abstract
La investigación muestra como la irrupción pública del Ejército Zapatista de Liberación Nacional (EZLN), el primero de enero de 1994 en San Cristóbal de las Casas y otros municipios del estado de Chiapas, México, causó sorpresa en los diversos sectores sociales, particularmente en los actores o dirigentes políticos de las distintas instituciones de México y del mundo. Se describe el paso del desconcierto e incertidumbre a los intentos por explicar el hecho histórico en el reconocimiento de las condiciones de abandono en las que se encontraban los grupos indígenas originales del territorio mexicano y latinoamericano, a la hora de renovar el poder y entrar a la modernidad capitalista.

It also describes the path from the uncertainty to the confusion concerning the attempts to explain the historical fact in the recognition of the conditions of abandonment in which there were the original indigenous groups of the Mexican and Latin-American territories, at the time of renewing the power and entering the capitalist modernity. |
