Resumen en otro Idioma | The present article that we share with the readers, written in the form of an essay, is framed in the “festive and musical culture of central western Venezuela, in Barquisimeto, being the state of Lara the geo-historical frame of reference, concretely, delimited in the musical group Carota, Ñema y Tajá of the composer Adelis Fréitez. This region of Venezuela has been characterized by hosting and training a large number of musicians and composers from colonial times to the present century XXI, managing to cultivate from musical genres created under the banner of modern and western European culture, to those forged in the ancestral popular culture. Of the latter, we choose the aforementioned group and its leader, for being one of the most prestigious groups of regional and national folklore. The method that we assume for the purposes of our discourse will be the historical method of the French Historiographic School of Annales, founded by Lucien Febvre and Marc Bloch, since it allows us to understand social processes with an overall vision that does not exclude other scientific disciplines. |
